The Top Notch Toppettes are TNDC’s in-house precision performance line a Dance Team -inspired troupe for dancers who love showmanship, synchronization, and the thrill of the spotlight.

Non-competitive but highly polished, the Toppettes perform at local events, seasonal showcases, holiday parades, studio productions, and special appearances throughout the year.

Who Can Become a Toppette?

The Toppettes are ideal for dancers who:

  • Love to perform

  • Thrive in team environments

  • Enjoy musicality, precision, and clean choreography

  • Want the glamour of a performance troupe without the pressure of competition

  • Have a flair for showmanship and stage presence

Approximate Ages:
Ages 12–18

Minimum Experience:
1–2 years of dance or teacher recommendation

Class Requirement:
Pom team members must be enrolled in Ballet plus two additional classes of their choice, in addition to their scheduled team rehearsal.

  • No. the Toppettes are strictly a non-competitive precision performance line.

  • Yes. Placement is determined through a video audition. Please email us for full audition guidelines and submission details.


  • Of course! In some cases, as schedules allow.

  • 1 weekly rehearsal, mandatory classes plus regular performances. A full calendar will be given per season.
